Grilled Avocados



Ingredients:

  • Ripe avocados


  • Olive oil


  • Salt and pepper


  • Optional toppings: lime juice, chili flakes, garlic powder, or

  • fresh herbs





Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Leave the skin on.

  3. Brush the cut sides of the avocados with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste on the cut sides of the avocados.
  5. Place the avocados cut-side down on the grill grates.

  6. Grill for about 2-3 minutes or until grill marks appear on the flesh side.
  7. Carefully flip the avocados using tongs or a spatula.

  8. Grill for another 2-3 minutes until the avocados are slightly softened.
  9. Remove the avocados from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes.
  10. If desired, squeeze lime juice over the grilled avocados and sprinkle with additional toppings such as chili flakes, garlic powder, or fresh herbs.
  11. Serve the grilled avocados as a side dish or use them as a topping for salads, tacos, or sandwiches.
